The commune of Paczków is located in the south-west part of the region Opole, in the Nysa district, on the very well-known Sudeten Route from Nysa to Kłodzko.

BY CAR:

The area of the commune is crossed by two important traffic routes:

  • National road no. 46 (so-called Sudeten Route) which runs from Szczekociny (Zawiercie region, Silesia Voivodship) through Częstochowa, Opole, Nysa to Kłodzko (30 km from Paczków) where it crosses with national road no. 33 (direction Międzylesie / Boboszów) and the national road 8 (section Kudowa Zdrój - Wrocław).
  • National road no. 382 which runs from the Polish-Czech border (Paczków / Bily Potok) through Ząbkowice Śląskie (25 km from Paczków), Dzierżoniów, Świdnica to Stanowice (Strzegom commune) – in Ząbkowice Śląskie it crosses the national road no. 382 with the national road no. 8 (section Kudowa Zdrój - Wrocław).

From the inner distribution road of Paczków (national road no. 46) there are four exits which lead to the city:

  • at the non-stop petrol station ORLEN
  • at the Sienkiewicz Street (crossroad with the road to the village Dziewiętlice)
  • at the Jagiellońska Street (crossroad with the national road no. 382 which runs to the border with the Czech Republic – border crossing: Paczków / Bily Potok)
  • at the Robotnicza Street (region of the Kamienica village)

The Polish national railway cancelled the arriving and departing trains from the railway station in Paczków.
